LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF YOUR GIFTS

There’s a reason why you are restless and dissatisfied. There’s a reason why you feel you should be doing more with your life. There’s a reason why you feel you are bigger than where you are. Instead of fighting this restlessness and feeling of dissatisfaction, consider for a moment that it could be the voice of your future calling out to you.


We all are blessed with talents, abilities from God. Every man and woman comes into this planet packaged with certain powers that are part of their purpose or assignment on the planet. Your gifts have a voice. They talk to you. They steer you in the direction of their creative expression. A writer wants to write, a banker likes figures, a builder wants to build, a pastor wants to talk to people, an athlete wants to run, a singer wants to sing, a sales person wants to sell. Our gifts steer us in the direction of our ultimate fulfillment.
Right now, your gifts are restless. They are agitated and you are dissatisfied. No, it isn’t because of your lousy job, boss or salary, although that may also be the reason why you are dissatisfied. But the real reason is because your gifts are TALKING to you. They are telling you what to do, what next step to take, where to go, who to meet, what to say, what to start so that they can find full and complete expression and thereby bring you into a state of peace and fulfillment. Your gifts are designed to guide you into your own wealthy place. Their assigned purpose in your life is to ensure that you live a rich, fulfilling, pleasurable and greatly rewarding life. I want you to pause for a moment and LISTEN to the voice of your gifts. When you DO what your gifts demand of you, it will set you on an irreversible course of greatness.
What stands between you and your future of greatness is the voice of fear and compromise. Fear tells you that it is too dangerous to pursue your dream because you could ‘get hurt’ in the process and possible fail. Compromise tells you that you are okay the way you are, why bother yourself about all those lofty ideas that your ‘crazy gifts’ are putting into your head? Why rock the boat? Why change things the way they are? But don’t listen to fear or compromise. Silence these voices and banish them from your life. I will encourage you to MOVE towards the attainment of your calling, purpose and vision in spite of the voice of fear and the betrayal of compromise. Work in harmony with your gifts and they will reward you richly and bring you into your future of greatness.
